Just another one...

Different

Anguish you cannot help but feel.
Feelings of staring eyes you do have.
Hate and anger boil in your soul.
A worldly question comes to your mind,
"Do I not breathe as they do.
Red blood flows in my veins too.
Why do they treat me so.
Are all men of this living earth
Prejudice to their fellow man."
Race, creel, and sex it does not matter.
All men are prejudice in one way or another.
This lowly prejudice need not be of conscious mind.
It is the fear of the unknown,
Of the uncertainty of something different.

To be different is to be alone,
Except for those friends rising above human pettiness,
As the world progresses above its pettiness,
The differences between men shall disappear,
And one day all men shall be the same.
